Posted on Updated on

As a nurse, I have been aware of how easily one can become a victim of burnout.  Nursing is a profession where you are subjected to a lot of stress.  The thing is that anyone can experience burnout.  There are many things that may cause stress in you life or within you.  Your job, illness, poor lifestyle decisions.

I started thinking about this when talking to a friend.  We live in a time of constant change.  Many people feel like they have little if any control in their life.  They lock themselves into constant survival mode.  Talk about being stressed out all the time.  Are you like this?  Do you think that you are experiencing burnout?

Here are 10 signs that you might be burnt out:

And I saw this article on 8 ways to start your morning.  If we can start out our day better, we might have less bad things happen.  When we do meet up with unpleasant situations, we could handle it better.  And we can make good lifestyle decisions more easily.  Like skipping that 2nd doughnut?  Hmm.

I really like this.  I recently started meditating in the moment.  When I skip my meditation, I tend to be more stressed out.  Hurried.  In survival mode.

Prayer and Meditation to Facilitate Clarity and Abundance

After waking from a healthy and restful sleep session, prayer and meditation are crucial for orienting yourself toward the positive. What you focus on expands.

Prayer and meditation facilitate intense gratitude for all that you have. Gratitude is having an abundance mindset. When you think abundantly, the world is your oyster. There is limitless opportunity and possibility for you.

People are magnets. When you’re grateful for what you have, you will attract more of the positive and good. Gratitude is contagious.

Gratitude may be the most important key to success. It has been called the mother of all virtues.

If you start every morning putting yourself in a space of gratitude and clarity, you will attract the best the world has to offer, and not get distracted.

I hope that if you are having a bad day, that this can lighten it a bit.
