My Week In The Blogosphere! Happy Fourth of July

Posted on Updated on

Happy Birthday America!

I hope you all have enjoyed this July 4th weekend.  That you got to a parade.  If it’s still early, that you see some good fireworks tonight!  We are lucky enough to have celebrated with friends.  I often think about people who are not so lucky and try to share a holiday with them.  It certainly makes our day better.    I want to thank all the people who have fought and served to make this country great.  And American is indeed great.  I have been many places through out the world, and am always happy to come home.

I continue on my soapbox to recognize women who are Unsung Heroines of The American Revolution.

Al DeFilippo, recommended that I add an English woman by the name of Lady Selina, the Countess of Huntingdon. She was a royal who had a conversion experience and was drawn to the work of John Wesley and George Whitefield. She sold the royal jewels and financed several Christian universities in England, Wales and one in America- Dartmouth University.  Thanks so much!

This Weeks New Blogs!

I stumbled upon the blog EveryWhereOnce and saw this photo of Santorini.   Jim and I went on a cruise of the Greek Islands for our anniversary one year.  Santorini was one of the places we were at.  It brought back such memories.    Greece is so beautiful.  And romantic.   There is a lot more on the blog

I thought that MilkBubbleTea was going to be a how to start you blog from this post I found.  It’s a lot more.  Check it out!

My Favorite Blog Posts of The Week!

From foodfulife.  She always finds a unique way to show off food.  I found the horizontal lines of this photo to be extremely pleasing.

theArtinpartyplanning has an all American summer favorite!  A Bacon Cheddar Burger.  It looks delish!  I am going to go veggie on her by using a Boca burger and soy bacon!  This will be great on weekends for those family parties!

Freshbeetz did seven days of salads.  This is definitely salad weather.  I don’t know about you, but it’s been pretty hot lately.  Salads are perfect.

If you have a kitty or dog than this post is just for you.  How to keep you pets safe during a heatwave!
