My Week In The Blogosphere

Posted on Updated on

The CaseysSorry I am so late in posting my week! Did you ever have a weekend it was wall to wall events and meetings? That was my weekend. Tonight was the first time that I could sit down for any length of time.

First off, It was Jim’s birthday. I am very lucky that he’s my husband and I want to do something special. We spent most of yesterday doing whatever he wanted to do. Biking and then a movie. Then I made his favorite meal, Smoked Tofu & Bean Burritos.smoked tofu and bean burritos

We watched movies at home. I had brought home a key lime pie from The Sunflower Bakery & Cafe. It’s one of the best restaurants in Galveston. If you ever get down here, you have got to go there!

I had a great month on my blog in August. I got to meet a lot of great bloggers. I learned lots of new things. Like HTML can be your friend. My writing is getting better. However, I do need to work on it. I spent last week looking for blogs that feature writers. How they do it. What I can do to be more fluid and articulate. You will see it in the new blogs I choose to talk about. I hope you check them out and can get something from these bloggers!

This Weeks New Blogs!

Spirit Meets Bone has a very eclectic group of essays. Though provoking indeed! I loved the one from Freshly Pressed. The Beauty of Becoming.

I am pretty new to writing so when I see a site like Romance Done Write, I just have to click on. Sure enough there are all kinds of posts that can help you become a better writer and blogger. I saw some challenges on there as well!

The Daily Post features articles on how you can become a better blogger/writer. They have Daily Prompts from fellow bloggers that help get the creative juices flowing. There will be Blogging U Courses that you can sign up for now. Topics are Blogging 101, Blogging 201, and Writing 101.

Live to Write-Write to Live Bloggers are the real deal. Writers who do this for their livelihood and are willing to share what they have learned!

Thanks so much! HTML is the code that you use to make your post better. You want some space in between paragraphs, you use

and a space in the Html screen. Otherwise things run together. It’s just easier to read. I know about have points where one struggles to get it together. Why does everything seem to take so long to do?

You get to write with your feet up? I’m jealous!! I have to sit like a schoolgirl, at a desktop.

I have a recliner. I do sit at my desk when I have a project that I need to get done quick. Less distractions!
