I have had this post for a while. The recipe is simple and fast. The sauce looks tasty.
At one time I use to think that tofu was kind of icky. I get it in restaurants and the texture was rubbery. Ugh! That was before I learned how to make it. Most people don’t know that what make the tofu rubbery is the excess of water that it absorbs from being packaged.
You need to press the water out. Drain the tofu. I slice it into 8 slices crosswise. I put it between two kitchen towels. Put my cast iron griddle on top weighted with cans. And let it sit for 15 minutes. This will definitely improve the texture.
