I haven’t seen Harissa in ages. Jim and I love it! I use to make it all the time. Then we moved and I lost the recipe.
So many uses. I use to use Harissa as rub on tofu. Mix it in hummus. When I roast veggies like sweet potato, carrots, and fennel, I would add it. The sweetness of the veggies with the kick of the harissa? Out of this world.
This looks like a great recipe. I would try to get ancho peppers myself. They worked extremely well! in the past.
