Hara Chholiya Paneer Curry | Fresh Green Garbanzo-Paneer Gravy

From Sweet & Savory by Shailja!

I love Indian cuisine!  It’s so varied.  It can be very mild and creamy(tandoori and samosas).  Or it can be hot and spicy(Kadai paneer and tikki masala). Something for every taste bud.  Kind of like Texas!

We are lucky that there are a lot of Indian restaurants in the Houston area.  My favorite is Cuisine of India in Webster.  We go there for special occasions.  Mainly anniversaries and birthdays.  If you are ever in the neighborhood, think about stopping there.  The food is wonderful!

This dish looks wonderful.  I love the color and the presentation so much, that I wanted to share it!

This looks delicious! I will add this to my very rare occasion of when I indulge in a little cheese. 🙂

Really Marcey, Indian cuisine is extremely varied. This is because the country has so many ethnic groups in each states, that they have entirely different recipes from each other. The one you have cooked is a North Indian recipe, specially good when eaten with Tortilla or flat home made bread called “roti”
