From Molly’s Morsels!
Talk about memories of Christmases Past. When I was a little girl, my mom always made sure that we would have a minced meat pie for Christmas dessert. She made it from scratch. The mincemeat was sweet and spicy. Enclosed is a buttery and flaky pastry. I would load up my piece with mounds of whipped cream. Heaven!
And I was lucky, because my dad and I were the only ones who would eat the pie. For some reason, people thought that there was meat in the pie. LOL! We had leftovers for days!
