This is an absolutely gorgeous dish whose basis is basmati rice. I can almost smell the basmati. The first time I ever knew that there was something like basmati rice is when Jim and I went to the Cafe Caspian in Houston. We walked in there and the aroma of the rice made me think that we had died and gone to heaven. Even if you don’t try this dish, try basmati rice. There is nothing else quite like it.
I on the other hand look forward to making this dish! I go to a lot of pot lucks. The wow factor will knock everyone’s socks off!
