Jim and I just got back from Quebec. We had taken Porter Airlines from Chicago to Quebec. Definitely a different kind of experience. It’s a smaller company with smaller airplanes. A great ride.
One of the things they did was to serve some healthier snacks. Almonds were one of them. Another was Terra Chips. Instead of potato chips, these were made from different types of vegetables. Beets, sweet potatoes, yucca, and other veggies. They were sweeter than regular chips, but delicious with a light coating of salt.
I had been thinking about buying some, then I stumbled upon this recipe. This looks so much healthier than potato chips! This is a must try.
