Jim and I have had wonderful news this week!  Jim and I have been working to become licensed foster parents.  We finished the process just this past week.  We got a call asking us if we would be interested in having a teenage boy come and live with us.  We met him and it was kind of an interview for him and for us.  We both had to decide if the other person who work for us. 

 

Jim and I fell in love with Marcos and he with us.  The upshot is that I am going to have to figure out what he likes to eat.  What’s healthy for him.  And then find recipes.  I saw this cinnamon sugar fried bananas recipe this morning and knew that it would be a winner.  It is as healthy as I would like it?  Nope, but we are all entitled to a splurge!  And I am not above bribing a kid with food!
