A Message From Galveston Beach

Well! it’s been almost 4 months since I first posted on Marcey’s Table.  Starting a blog was a reaction to some loses that I had experienced in the past year.  A way to move on from them.  I wanted to do something that was dramatically different for me.   That would cause me to stretch and grow.

When I started in May, I didn’t have a clue about blogging.  How do blog?   What should I write about?  What do I have to offer?   And this about page shows it.  Now that I have been blogging for a while, I have a better idea of what I want to do.  I feel more comfortable sharing with you.

And besides, where is it written that you can’t change to have what you want?  And I am someone who believes in coincidences.   The blog Crave made a big change themselves today, and it is so cool!  Check it out!

I read this about page this week and realized that I really need to update this page!  This shows where I was 4 months ago.  A lot has changed since I started.  I have made some friends.  I have a better idea of what I want to do.  I want to take some time with this.  So you will see this page change over time.

We love to travel to unique places.  If we can’t get away, we bike, take long walks on the beach, and find unusual places to visit nearby.

PyewacketPyewacket, our black kitty of 11 years to cancer since I wrote this page.   As Jim said, there was no better kitty.  She showed up at our door one day.  I tried to sweep her off the porch.  She wouldn’t go.  It was like she chose us.  She knew that we needed her.  And Jim fell in love with her almost immediately.  Then me.  We will miss her.

If you have any suggestions about my about page, please let me know!  After all I am a
