From Looking Around!
I saw this video and just had to share it. Talk about Christmases past!
I love cats. I love the fact that they are soft and furry. Snuggly. At the same time, I love their fierce independence. Their attitude that the world was their oyster so to speak.
I pretty much have had cats my whole adult life. My first one was Rusty. He was this gorgeous tortoise shell cat. Unfortunately, Jim turned out to be allergic to him. Fortunately, I had a friend who just loved Rusty.
That didn’t stop me from having them. I learned that all I had to do was bring Jim with me to sniff them. You could say that they had to past the ‘smell’ test. If they passed, they had a home.
So we had cats up until recently when Pyewacket passed away. I so appreciate this video. I loved all the antics. Especially, seeing the kitty climb up to the top of the tree. We had tiger lily who loved doing that. She would climb up there and was queen of her world until she jumped down and knocked over the tree. LOL! We did learn to tie up the tree.
Please check out the video. I think that you will get quite a chuckle out of it!

I love cats. They are soft and furry. Extremely cuddable. However, they so independent and I really like that. And I enjoy Katzenworld. They are cat lovers like I am. My kind of people.
We lost our Pyewacket(above) this year and that has left a big hole in our family. There was no better kitty. Well, here is a post from a blog I follow. This is a site for our Kitties. They can tell you everything you need to know. Check it out. My Pye would want you to. Then go and give your cat a tummy rub from me!
This has been a very difficult week for Jim and me. We lost our kitty of 11 years to cancer this week. As Jim said, there is no better kitty than Pyewacket. She showed up at our door one day. I tried to sweep her off the porch. She wouldn’t go. It was like she chose us. No one else would work for her. And Jim fell in love with her almost immediately.
A few weeks after she joined the family, we had to leave due to Hurricane Rita. We couldn’t find her and Jim would leave without her. We found her in the car! Well! She got her first trip up to Austin. She loved travel. LOL!
I am glad she didn’t take no for an answer. She was the smartest kitty I ever met. She had a ton of personality. She loved people. Most cats hide when they see new people. Not the Pye. She would be out there snuggling up to them. And she loved her agility training.
She was great with our son. He had been sick for a long time. She slept with him. When you saw my son, you would see the Pye. She was very protective of Carlitos. Very loving. She was our penny from Heaven, and we will miss you Pye!

Somebody get the catnip — and step on it! Ms. Mittens means business.
A Stamford, Connecticut, man called 911 this week for help as a standoff with his house cat entered its third hour, leaving him stuck outside the house.
We use to have three cats at one time. Samson, Naomi, & Tiger Lily. They were always doing things like this together. This video brought back endless hours of amusement!
